सरकार जून 2021 के बाद ही डीए पर अहम फैसला ले सकती है। ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि अप्रैल में लिया गया फैसला इस डेट तक ही लागू है। अगर सरकार डीए पर राहत भरा फैसला लेती है तो इससे 50 लाख से ज्यादा कर्मचारियों और 65 लाख ले ज्यादा पेंशनर्स को सीधा फायदा पहुंचेगा।
दरअसल साल में दो बार महंगाई भत्ते में बढ़ोत्तरी होती है पर इसबार डेढ़ साल (जून 2021) तक कोई बढ़ोत्तरी नहीं होगी। महंगाई भत्ता महंगाई बढ़ने के बाद कर्मचारियों के रहन सहन के स्तर पर प्रभाव न हो इस वजह से दिया जाता है।
